Santa is flying to Kyiv.
Send a Christmas miracle

This Christmas we aim to break the siege of Kyiv, as we did in Sarajevo and Baghdad, and bring a powerful message of peace, with gifts, to children suffering from the war. Choose a gift, write your message, and it flies with Santa. Every gift lights up the World Peace Map at your own town. If enough of us take part, a second convoy goes to the children in Gaza.

If we cannot land in Kyiv, Santa’s trucks carry the gifts the rest of the way.

History of the Santa Peaceflight

Design is a funny word

The first Santa Peaceflight was organised for the Chernobyl Children’s Project. Santa then flew into besieged Sarajevo when civilian flights were shut out, and into Baghdad under sanctions, with special permission of the UN Security Council, carrying medical supplies and toys. On the ground, Peace 2000 worked with partners like the Red Cross and Red Crescent.

UNESCO nominated Peace 2000 for a humanitarian award presented by the Greek Orthodox Church, which said the flight had helped the peace efforts in the Middle East.
